Overview
Throughout the course, you will not only learn about the Fast & Fair principles but also reflect on how you might introduce and explain them in your own training context. In the “How Would You Teach This?” activities, you will be invited to think about how to introduce each principle, which examples might resonate with your audience, and what challenges might arise when discussing these topics with local stakeholders.
These reflections will become the starting point for the final module.
In this last module, you will explore how to design and facilitate a training session on the Fast & Fair Energy principles. You will review ideas shared during the course, discover practical facilitation techniques, and begin shaping your own approach to delivering Fast & Fair training.
What you'll learn
- The first five modules introduce the Fast & Fair Energy principles, exploring how renewable energy projects can be developed in ways that are both effective and fair for local communities. These modules cover:

- Transparency – the importance of open communication and clear decision-making processes
- Nature-Positive – approaches to developing renewable energy in ways that respect biodiversity and ecosystems
- Empowering Community-Led Initiatives – how communities and local actors can play an active role in renewable energy projects
- The final module focuses on training facilitation.

- Each self-paced lesson is designed to take approximately 25 minutes, and the entire course should take around 2–3 hours to complete.
